This Privacy Policy explains how HNN (Health News Network), operated by Lolli Brands Entertainment, collects, uses, shares, and protects your information when you access or use the HNN Platform, including our website and associated subdomains, our viewing experience, our OTT applications, and any related services we offer — including the Zanzi voice assistant. This Privacy Policy is incorporated by reference into our Master Terms of Service and Universal Disclaimer and is binding on every visitor and User of the Platform.
This Privacy Policy is effective May 2026. We may update it from time to time, with the current version always available on the Platform. We will notify you of material changes through the entry acceptance modal or through other reasonable means.
1. Who We Are
HNN is operated by Health News Network LLC, a Florida limited liability company. Health News Network LLC is the controller of your personal information collected through the HNN Platform.
Affiliated Entities
Health News Network LLC operates as part of a family of affiliated entities. The privacy protections, contractual rights, and limitations described in this Policy and in our Terms of Service extend to and protect Health News Network LLC, Lolli Brands Entertainment LLC, BioHack Yourself Media LLC, and their related parties, including the documentary production LLCs, event production LLCs, consumer product LLCs, and other affiliated entities producing media properties and productions in association with the foregoing.

- Application or inquiry information (information submitted through Channel Owner applications, press inquiry forms, brand inquiry forms, or other contact forms)
2.2 Information We Collect Automatically
- Device information (device type, operating system, browser, application version, unique device identifiers)
- Log information (IP address, access times, pages or screens viewed, content accessed, referring URLs)
- Usage information (which channels you view, how long you watch, viewing patterns, interactions with the Platform)
- Approximate location (derived from IP address; we do not collect precise GPS location unless you explicitly opt in through a device permission)
- Cookies, web beacons, pixels, local storage, and similar tracking technologies (see Section 7)
2.3 Information From Third Parties
- Payment processors (transaction confirmations, payment status, fraud signals — we do not store full payment card information)
- App store and distribution platforms (subscription status, download confirmations)

- Full payment card numbers or banking credentials (handled by Channel Owners' payment processors)

- Precise location data (unless you explicitly opt in)
Where you speak with the Zanzi voice assistant, your call may be recorded and transcribed for quality, training, and to provide the service you requested. The audio and transcript, along with any details you provide during the conversation (such as your name, contact details, and the nature of your inquiry), are stored securely and access is limited to those who need it to operate the service. This is a factual description of how the voice feature works; it does not modify or expand any other term of this Policy.
3. How We Use Your Information
3.1 Platform Operation

- To recognize you on return visits and remember your preferences

5. How We Share Your Information

5.1 Service Providers
We share information with third-party service providers who help us operate the HNN Platform. These include cloud hosting and infrastructure providers; OTT distribution providers (including TVStartup, our infrastructure pathway); analytics providers; email and communication providers; customer support tools; and security and fraud prevention providers. These service providers are contractually obligated to use your information only to provide their services to HNN and to protect your information in accordance with this Policy.
5.2 Channel Owners
When you subscribe to a Channel Owner's offering, the Channel Owner is the merchant of record for that transaction. The Channel Owner has access to information necessary to provide their service to you, including your name, email, and subscription details. The Channel Owner's use of your information is governed by their own privacy practices.
5.3 Legal Requirements
- Subpoenas, court orders, or other legal process
- Requests from law enforcement, regulatory bodies, or government authorities
- Requirements to protect the safety, rights, or property of HNN, our users, or others
- Investigation of fraud, abuse, or violation of our Terms
5.4 Corporate Transactions and Affiliated Entities
If Health News Network LLC or any affiliated entity (including Lolli Brands Entertainment LLC, BioHack Yourself Media LLC, or any related party) is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of assets, information we hold may be transferred as part of the transaction. We will provide notice before any such transfer subjects your information to a different privacy policy. Information may also be shared among Health News Network LLC and its affiliated entities for legitimate business purposes, including operational coordination, cross-promotion, audit, security, and consolidated reporting, subject to applicable law and to the privacy protections described in this Policy.
5.5 With Your Consent
We may share your information with other parties when you direct us to do so or when you provide consent to such sharing.
6. Channel Owner Transactions and Data Handling
6.1 Independent Merchant of Record Status
When you subscribe to a Channel Owner's offering, you transact directly with that Channel Owner. The Channel Owner is the merchant of record. HNN is not a party to that transaction.
6.2 Information Channel Owners Receive
- Your name and email address
- Subscription status and dates
- Communications you initiate directly with the Channel Owner
6.3 Channel Owner Privacy Practices
Channel Owners are responsible for their own privacy practices regarding information they receive from their subscribers. HNN requires Channel Owners to comply with applicable privacy laws but does not control or audit individual Channel Owner data practices on a transactional basis. Subscriber inquiries about Channel Owner data practices should be directed to the applicable Channel Owner.
7. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the Platform, remember your preferences, maintain your private-environment acknowledgment, and understand how Users engage with the Platform. For full details about the cookies we use, see our separate Cookie Policy.
7.1 Cookie Categories
- Essential cookies — necessary for the Platform to function (including maintaining your acceptance record and your session)
- Functional cookies — remember your preferences and personalize your experience
- Analytics cookies — help us understand how Users interact with the Platform (opt-in)
- Marketing cookies — reserved for future use; HNN does not currently run third-party advertising
7.2 Managing Cookies
You can manage your cookie preferences through the Cookie Preferences panel accessible from the cookie banner or from the website footer. You can also adjust cookie settings through your browser. Note that disabling essential cookies may prevent the Platform from functioning correctly.
8. Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to provide the HNN Platform to you and to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy. Specific retention periods include:
- Account information — retained for the lifetime of your account, plus a reasonable period after termination for legal, regulatory, and operational purposes
- Acceptance records (entry modal confirmations) — retained for seven (7) years minimum, and indefinitely as a defensive measure for compliance and dispute resolution
- Usage logs and analytics — retained for up to twenty-four (24) months in identifiable form, after which they are aggregated or deleted
- Communications — retained for the lifetime of the matter to which they relate, plus a reasonable period for legal and operational purposes
- Payment-related records — retained as required by tax, accounting, and regulatory law
When information is no longer needed, we securely delete or anonymize it.
9. Data Security
We implement reasonable and appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, use, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. These measures include:
- Encryption of data in transit (TLS 1.2 or higher)
- Encryption of sensitive data at rest
- Access controls limiting employee access to personal information on a need-to-know basis

11. Children's Privacy (COPPA)
The HNN Platform is intended exclusively for users who are eighteen (18) years of age or older. The HNN Platform is not directed to children under thirteen (13) years of age, and we do not knowingly collect, use, or share personal information from any individual under eighteen (18) years of age. Every visitor to the HNN Platform must affirmatively confirm through the entry acceptance modal that they are eighteen years of age or older before accessing any content. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child under eighteen (18), or from a child under thirteen (13) in violation of the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), we will take reasonable steps to delete the information from our active databases, terminate the associated account, and notify a parent or legal guardian where appropriate. 12. California Privacy Rights (CCPA / CPRA)
This section applies to California residents and is provided to comply with the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA). The rights described in this section are in addition to the rights described in Section 10.
12.1 Categories of Personal Information We Collect
- Identifiers (name, email, IP address, account ID, device ID)
- Customer records information (account profile information)
- Internet or other electronic network activity (browsing history, search history, interactions with the Platform)
- Geolocation data (approximate location derived from IP address)
- Audio, electronic, visual, or similar information (where you have submitted videos or images, such as a Channel Owner application)
- Inferences drawn from the above categories (preferences, characteristics, viewing behavior)
12.5 Sale and Sharing of Personal Information
HNN does not sell personal information for monetary consideration. HNN does not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. As such, HNN does not currently engage in "sale" or "sharing" of personal information as defined by the CCPA / CPRA.
12.6 Your California Rights
- Right to Know — to request that we disclose the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, the categories of sources, the purposes for collection, the categories of third parties with whom we have shared information, and the specific information we have shared
- Right to Delete — to request that we delete personal information we have collected from you, subject to legal exceptions
- Right to Correct — to request that we correct inaccurate personal information we maintain about you
- Right to Opt-Out of Sale or Sharing — although HNN does not currently sell or share personal information, you have the right to direct us not to do so in the future
- Right to Limit Use of Sensitive Personal Information
- Right to Non-Discrimination — we will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights
12.7 How to Exercise Your California Rights
To exercise your California privacy rights, contact us at privacy@hnn.media with the subject line "California Privacy Request." We will respond within forty-five (45) days, with one extension of up to forty-five additional days if reasonably necessary. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling your request. Authorized agents may submit requests on your behalf with proper documentation.
13. International Data Transfers
HNN is based in the United States. If you access the HNN Platform from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the United States and other countries where our service providers operate. By using the Platform, you consent to such transfers. We take steps to ensure that any international transfer of personal information is conducted in accordance with applicable law, including by entering into appropriate data transfer agreements with our service providers where required.
14. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the version number and effective date on the cover of this Policy, trigger re-confirmation through the entry acceptance modal on your next visit, notify registered Users by email where appropriate, and provide reasonable notice through the Platform. Your continued use of the HNN Platform after the effective date of any update constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy. If you do not agree to the updated Policy, you must discontinue use of the Platform.
